I’m doing most of my practicing right now with this wonderful product and the cert guide. I have to give Boson a lot of credit for this. It has a lot of questions, they are very well written. The explanations are great with references to why the answers are correct. It has very few if any errors and it cost only 99$. I don’t get anything for saying this it’s just a very good product and I recommend it if you are preparing for the written exam.

I think I’ll be ready to take it late January. I’m scoring around 90% with Boson right now. I’m going to do the cert guide questions now and if that feels good I will probably book the test in a week or so and write it in a couple of weeks.

Thanks man. Good luck on the recert. Did you consider doing another track or are you going to keep going with the same track? Got any tips for me as I start to do all the labs? I will do mostly rack rentals in the beginning since I don’t have a good enough box to run a full Dynamips topology right now.

    Heya Daniel
Im so on and off for the CCDE, it somehow would be interesting since I love doing designs and I think it would be a better fit for me instead of another CCIE track. But I currently don’t know yet where this year will lead me to, so not making too many plans yet. And I still got roughly 34 years left until retirement, so there’s still plenty of time left ,)

About the labbing, we had the approach to not go directly for the full scale labs, instead take each topic and do a few labs only on that topic. Save the configs for the later parts so you just have to copy and paste the basics which are needed for the next topic.
This will smoothly lead you to the full scale, otherwise, the full scale labs might be a bit overwhelming and frustrating.
hm might aswell write an article about that, at least for the configuration part .-)

    regards

    Michel
