I’m going to my first Cisco Live! And it’s in the US!
I have booked my sessions which was a challenge. There are so man good sessions to
choose from. I tried to get a balance of sessions I have use for now, sessions that
could be useful in a longer perspective and sessions that have speakers that I really
want to meet.
My schedule turned out to be a combination of network design, multicast and routing
protocols and a few sessions on things like overlay networks. Here is my schedule.

Please tell me, I have a very busy schedule so it’s better if I know beforehand.

13.30 – 15.30 BRKIPM-2264 Multicast Troubleshooting
And the key notes are the only sessions I have scheduled in common with you. See in in Fish’s and Pete’s session!
I usually try to get to the “advanced” sessions (3xxx) at the show. Then catch the rest on 365.
Have you thought about doing a meet the engineer?
Cool Pablo.
Yes, I am considering doing a MTE if I can do one on the ME3600/3800 platform.
Hi Bro,
Great!! Really happy to know that you are going to attend the much excited one!!
I would love to know about the advances in BGP. So, if possible, could you please share the experience and knowledge with us later, which you was about to have 🙂 !!
Thank you in advance!!
Regards
Uma Shankar V.
Sure,
BGP is one of my favourite subjects so I’ll keep an eye on that 🙂
i will see you thursday:
BRKARC-2020
Cool 🙂
Hopefully we will meet in between as well.
I’ll see you in
12.30 – 14.30 BRKARC-2002 Techniques of a Network Detective
Whats your experience with waiting lists and getting into classes that are full ?
That’s cool Richard.
This is my first CL so I don’t have any experience with that. Do you get a number for the waiting list or just that you are on the waiting list? Which class are you looking to get in to? I could try to poke around on the status of it.
I’m hoping to get into ucs architecture overview and I can’t remember the name but it is essentially on ucs East West migrations optimization. I’m just on the waiting list you put on your schedule. I’m told waiting around at the door may get you in. So schedule something else and wait at the one you want to get into.
This is how I’m shaping up subject to some changes no doubt –
BRKCOM-1005 — UCS Architecture Overview 5/19/14 08:00
BRKDCT-2334 — Real World Data Center Deployments and Best Practice Session 5/19/14 10:00
BRKNMS-3021 — Advanced Cisco IOS Device Instrumentation 5/19/14 13:00
BRKDCT-2131 — Mobility and Virtualization in the Data Center with LISP and OTV 5/20/14 08:00
BRKCOM-2003 — UCS Networking – Deep Dive 5/20/14 12:30
BRKEWN-2010 — Design and Deployment of Enterprise WLANs 5/20/14 15:00
BRKRST-2044 — Enterprise Multi-Homed Internet Edge Architectures 5/21/14 08:00
BRKDCT-2121 — (VDC) Design and Implementation Considerations with Nexus 7000 5/21/14 13:30
BRKDCT-2049. — Overlay Transport Virtualization 5/21/14 16:00

BRKCRS-2501 — Campus QoS Design-Simplified 5/22/14 14:30
I’m on the waiting list for the first so I’ll reschedule and attempt to get into that and the previous class I mentioned.
